Looking for some assistance. I have a single audible pop from my front right suspension when I change direction going from forward to reverse or when I am taking weight off the front right suspension such as in a turn. I'm having zero drivability issues, but the pop is still worrisome. Any ideas?

I did have my steering rack and pinion replaced recently.

If you could be a little bit more descriptive it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks:)

Had my steering rack replaced under warranty about a month ago, and stared to hear a pop when the front suspension cycled over bumps, etc. lower ball joint on the passenger side is toast. Maybe check those.

Shit. Can ball joint wear be caused by the service or completely separate issue?

Could be just coincidence in my case, but from what I've heard the lower ball joint blowing out is a common issue on Tacoma's. Worth checking out anyway.

There is a clank from what seems to be my front brake pads when going from forward to reverse. Not as you described... but close. Just thought I would mention it.

How would you be able to tell if your LBJ has failed?

I am having the same issue. Along with a shitty drivetrain vib/clank. And my radio screen blacking out over every little bump. Toyota quality ain't what it used to be. I just got this 12 a few months back. Sold my my F250 after 240k miles and my FJ80 with 230k. Got me a 13 JK Rubicon that was great. But needed a truck. So I got me this TRD Sport. But am definitely not that impressed with it so far. Not what old 88 was or my old T100.
