FS: (Bay Area) Custom ARE CX shell 1st gen. long bed black

ARE CX series shell for 1st gen long bed Tacoma for sale. Custom ordered with OEM color code Toyota Black Mica paint, swing-up/out win-doors with sliding windows, mesh, dual locking latches. The side win doors are a really nice feature for sleeping in it, and especially for accessing gear toward the front without having to pull things out, climb in, etc. This is my dream shell, probably the best mod I did to my Tacoma. the only reason I am selling it is because I am parting out and selling my Tacoma since I bought a Tundra.

Roof rack rails built in at the ARE factory (stronger this way than added later and waterproof), carpet headliner, and tip-in front sliding window. The roof rails will safely support up to 400lbs according to ARE.

Cost around $2550 new and took about 3-4 weeks to be built by ARE. About two years old and in very good condition. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. Even if you don't have a black Tacoma this is the one color that will still look good no matter what color your truck is.

Never had any leaks. I've spend winter and summer nights in this from 18 degrees to 100 and in spite of being black it actually doesn;t get very hot inside even in direct sun in the desert if you have ventilation through the nice windows/win-doors. I ride smaller size bikes but have always been able to fit three full size road or mountain bikes inside of it with the back door closed.

This will only fit first gen. full bed Tacomas. Please don't ask if you can come with other vehicles to "see if it will fit" etc. It's currently mounted on my Tacoma and I am only removing it for a serious buyer.

I also have a Thule roof rack for it with towers and crossbars (48" I think, I'll need to measure but they are perfect for the shell), also in perfect condition that I will sell for another $160.
