lights out

all of a sudden the running and dash lights went out in our 03 prerunner. the tail light fuse, 10 amp, under the hood keeps blowing

 

Check you're taillight wiring for a short,Do you have a canopy with a interior light wired into the taillight circuit that could be shorted? If you have a tow package you should have a convertor box wired into the trailer plug that could have a short. One more thing to try is remove your taillight bulbs and see if the fuse still blows that might narrow it down for you. Hope this helps you out.

 

Use a DMM, ohm to ground at the connectors working your way toward the rear. Whatever wire reads 0 ohms to ground, follow it.
