Not a whole lot. Depends also on what type of tire you get whether it be LT truck tire or p-rated. Your gas milage will suffer. Only way to get that power back is to regear or supercharge it. But coolness factor increases by like 1000

Had 33s & a trd blower on my 11, power was good after 3k rpms, rubbing 33s and 4.56s on my 12 and it's night and day difference in power. I'd go with the gears, they are cheaper & more effective than a blower

ok thanks for the input. I will use some mud terrain tires i'm sure so i'm hoping the power loss isn't super noticeable?

A very, very minimal loss of power since I installed 33's on my '14 Sport.

    It's the wife's T4R so it's stock
Go with gears and a blower with 33s... It's more fun.

bigger rotating mass will always rob power unless you change gears

I remember I used to roll around on 235/75r15's...then when I switched to these mud terrains I thought I broke something

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
It is pretty noticeable coming from stock tires. Not horrible but noticeable.

Finally '14 talk!! Seems like I had to pick apart an area rug thread by thread! Alright. So I have a 14 trd off road DCSB I'm looking at the toytec ultimate with the dakar pack. What size tire can I fit on my stock rims? Everything I have looked at so far says 255/85r16. I'm not sure I want tall skinnys anybody know my options with as little trimming as possible?

I have basically the same setup on my '13 DCSB, and there is a slight rub with my 285/75R16 General Grabber AT2's at full lock. Putting on some Bora 1" spacers which I am hoping will solve that problem.

It all depends on the gearing you have in those axles.

If you experience a significant power loss, nothing will get that power back - not even a blower - unless you re-gear.
