I currently have an 07 DC LB with ICON coilovers up front and Wheelers 3-leaf AAL and Bilstein 5100s in the back. I work in construction and do quite a bit of heavy loading and towing. So I'm going to install the Firestone Ride-Rite air bags. My questions is will I need the 2" spacer for the air bags since I have the AAL or will I be ok without it?

Definitely don't need the spacers. I have a 2011 DCLB and have the icon 3 leaf aal and just installed riderite bags this afternoon. I added the daystar spring cradles which raise the bottom perch about 1/2 an inch and it is just about perfect. You need to remember that much of the lift from the 3 leaf pack comes from thickness of the leaves themselves along with the added spring rates.

Curious if all the previous posters here feel the same way now...I want to raise the rear of my truck 2" but am concerned about over extending the air bags. Wondering if adding blocks is the better lift option to protect the bags.

I have three full tool boxes in my truck bed and haul additional stuff in the bed daily for work, so the airbags are more vital than the lift.
