I got an i4 access cab 4x4 5 speed and it does great. I live in the heart of the appalachian mtns so i travel over 3 mtns to and from work and my taco does great. Prob wouldnt recommend and automatic in the i4 tho. Test drove the v6 too and imo the 6 speed trans sucks.

I just traded my I4 prerunner dcsb for a v6 trd off road, when I got the prerunner it was a nice truck but was too weak for me. You will be so much more happy with the v6 since you already have the mileage of the f150. I will say that my i4 got 22.5 mpg and so far my v6 is getting 20.2 over 6 tanks of gas.
