first off thank for all write ups on lifts and how to do them i just put a 2'' leveling kit on my single cab and it looks great. it in my opp. isnt to hard to put on. i went with a above strut spacer, im not an off-roader unless you count where i work(strip job roads). from what i read the control arms where the toughest part. not for me, iknow this sounds crazy but getting the sway bar back on was a pain in the rear. so i would like to ask if it was just me or did anyone else have trouble with it. i going to try and get pics up soon. so thanks for all your knowledge and advice

I'm doing this Tuesday! Did you actually get 2" of lift? I've read the 2" spacers only give 1.5" sometimes

the spacer lift you're talking about is simply a spacer that goes above the coilover. Because of the geometry, roughly a 1" or 1-1/8" spacer will give you 2" of lift.

The sway bar was a little difficult to install for me, as was reconnecting the LCA. My solution was, while the truck was on jack stands, I put the jack under the spindle and jacked it up so that the LCA could be bolted on. That worked for the sway bar too.

You disconnected the LCA? The instructions that came with mine said disconnect the sway bar and the UCA.

There are multiple ways to install it. I disconnected the sway bar and the LCA from the spindle only, let the LCA swing downward, and dropped the coilover down through the hole where the LCA used to be.
