I'm absolutely sickkkk of looking at these two issues with my pretty little pre runner. Its hard to tell in the photo but one pictures is of a residue that was left all over the drivers side of my truck after scrubbing tons of blacktop asphalt off. And the other is something that I assume is a relatively common problem but i don't know an efficient way to remove it. I bought the truck with body wax caked all over the black fender flares. Truck would look head over heels better if I could get them black again. I know somewhere under all that white haze is a pretty black fender flare. Any recommendations on chemicals to get off the blacktop residue and the body wax? Ive googled but there are hundreds and hundreds of suggestions and im sure some of you guys have a little experience with this as opposed to some nut job that just says use peanut butter over and over.(which may actually work) Anyway thanks in advance guys... i'll have to post some pics of the truck after I get it cleaned up. Just got some wet okole covers for my front seats too!

you can use a clay bar. as far as the wax, some good ole elbow grease will help get that off.
