So I was in the market for a hidden winch mount and wasn't impressed with anything currently out on the market or currently being designed. I reached out to Tyler and Satin to inquire about the mount that was originally on their truck before the plate bumper went on. Long story short is they made me this beautiful mount that has surpassed my expectation. I want to add one more thing, I can honestly say I have never had such a great experience dealing with a company. Both Tyler and Satin were great and provided great support and customer service. Thank you guys for everything!!! :)

I decided to do an install thread for anyone else interested in getting one of these babies so here goes.

Hidden Winch plate and parts after putting on a few coats of bed liner.

Began taking the front end apart

Bolted on the Winch plate and the NFAB light bar brackets on to the frame using the stock bolts in place to the crash bumper. The aluminum crash bumper is no longer needed.

No it's time to mount my early birthday gift from the wife :)

Bumper back on for some trimming.

Bumper skin trimmed for proper fit and access to winch line.

I forgot to take pictures but I had to trim a few of the tabs behind this bumper trim as well.

    IMG_0594_zpsf326aaf5_17389977a594bdf4f7ae5ebb5c4f5e2af1e7addc.jpg
Note: I used the fairlead to sandwich the bumper trim to the winch mount which I felt gave the whole bumper more rigidity.

Now it's time to remove the front skid plate to install the gusseted backing plates which will provide additional support during heavy pulls.

Next, unbolt both sway bar brackets and reinstall with backing plates.

Now insert provide bolt through the hole on the bottom of the winch plate mount. Slide it through all the way out of the hole in the gusseted backing plates that were just installed. Do this to both sides.

I wish I can answer you bro but I don't know if it's something they want me to share. Just give them a call or shoot them an email and they can get you a quote. They are very responsive and will get back to you real fast. Sorry I couldn't be more of a help on this one.

great write up will be ordering mine shortly. was planning on ordering a plate bumper and had almost every aspect of the plate bumper I wanted figured out. but then I thought about how much I love the look of my truck and that I only really wanted a plate bumper for the winch.
this kit solves all my issues and its half the cost!

    my only question.
with the support plates work with a sway bar relocation kit?
I am thinking it will I will just have to get longer hardware and hopefully still have the correct performance in my sway bar (due to the sway bar now being even further from the frame)

That was pretty much me as well. I was originally planning to get a plate bumper but I really like the trucks stock bumper look so I decided to go this route.

Unfortunately I couldn't tell you how it will work with the sway bar relocation kit since I am not running one. For my stock setup it only dropped the sway bar 1/4 inch and has not impacted the performance of the truck at all. :)

I have a pelfreybilt bumper that uses the support plates and they work with my sway bar relocation kit. Also the stock hardware was still useable.

@bajafresh Where did you mount the control pack? Did you mount it in the engine bay?

    @rjplouis

    Hey bro,

Sorry I just saw this. :( I have it in the engine compartment but I just took it out to redo the bracket I made. It's taking me forever because my welding skills suck, I am learning as I try. I'll get pictures of the area I had it in and when I finish the bracket I will get pictures too.
