I just put new Duratracs on this weekend and took it out on the highway for the first time and noticed a slight shimmy in the steering wheel at 70-75. I've never had tires this aggressive before but I am assuming they should balance just like any other tire right? I also haven't done the alignment yet because I am installing 884's this weekend with new shocks and leafs. I was thinking that I should rebalance before the lift so I can isolate anything that could pop up with the lift install but I don't have time.

Could not doing the alignment cause the shimmy? I went from stock 17 sport wheels with 265/65/17 to Konig Six Shooters with 265/70/17.

These are also brand new wheels. Can they get those wheel weights off without scuffing up new rims?

What is road force balancing and is it needed on a second balance attempt?

    Thanks for your opinions
