    Hi All,

I just picked up a 2014 Tacoma Dbl Cab V6 4x4 TRD Off Road. Super excited and very much in love. I'm 28 and this is my first truck. In fact, I'm coming from a 2007 G35 sedan so this is a huge change/upgrade for me. People keep telling me they're shocked I would buy a truck. Maybe it's me or perhaps because I live in SoCal. Regardless I've been spending a lot of time camping the last few months and after my last big trip at Joshua Tree near Palm Springs, I discovered a lot of places I couldn't go in my car. This just feels right. I have already learned a ton on here and can't wait to get started on mods. I will start this weekend with Polk 6.5's (components in the front and coaxials in the rear) because OMG that muddy stereo is the WORST. I don't even use the stereo because it makes me so upset. Next I want to settle on wheels and tires. I have my eye on a set of MT Classic ii, but my head is spinning figuring out whether or not I should lift.

Welcome! I drive through Calabasas every day to/from work. I was in the same boat as you. I had a Chrysler 300 and kept running into the problem of not being able to get to where I wanted to be. The truck solved that problem and then some!

    Welcome to the site! :)
