    Is the connecting rod a pretty obvious part, towards the top of the clutch?

    I'm willing to give the 1/4 thing a shot, but I want to make sure I'm turning the right part, lol.

    My is a groan more than a high-pitched creak in the video above, but it has been getting worse-to-constant in warm weather.

    I've driven sticks almost all my life, and this Taco solution is one clunky SOB. I still like it more than driving an auto, but sheebers crisco Toya...do something better.

    Yeah, you can't miss it. There is a rod with a nut. Just try turning the whole thing until it starts to sound better. Mine drove me crazy for about a year, Toyota was no help, lube lasted a week, then I saw this fix. Hasn't made a peep since.

    I have the exact same problem for a few months and the toyota dealership where i received my truck told me to check for a TSB. I been calling them and checking for months and still nothing!
