Adding 5100 to 3" top plate spacer?

    Everything is fine with the lift except the ride is pretty stiff. I was thinking of adding 5100's all around to soften it up a bit.

    I would be running them at 0" with the 3" top plate spacer. I don't want to run the 5100's at 2.5" because I would rather not preload the springs (and I like the 3" of lift :D).

    Will this help my ride quality?

    No. What you're thinking is opposite from what will actually happen. Put the 5100's at 2.5" and get rid of the spacers and your ride will improve.
