Police brutality is always uncalled for. That said, I've seen police where I live do worse for much lesser offences.

 

I'm betting either number is nothing compared to the cost of not securing the border. Additionally, the extrapolated number is less than 1/2 of 1% of TARP and may actually help in more ways than just "no shovel ready jobs" (some other huge spending). It's not the good neighbors to the south I'm concerned about as it is the crap some of them bring in and the other nationalities and ideology some of them bring. A little research on the actual numbers & what % are actually from Mexico would be interesting and so would the cost of illegals IMO. Sorry for the thread jack...
