I installed the rear brake lines I got from the group buy on TW. Need to know before I proceed to front. Are the metal clips supposed to hold the new lines like it did with the old ones because they don't and fall off without hesitation. Also, am I suppose to be able to move the brake line assembly up and down? I tightened the nut on both sides and nothing holds in place and I can move the flare nut with hose up and down. For sure nothing fits snug and falls into place like the original hoses. Please help, can't proceed until I know for sure if there is a problem here.

Bend the clips into more of a curved shape and push them in. (you may need to hammer a little) They will still hold.

So it's normal for it to be loose without the clips? I'm assuming there isn't anything that's gonna fit like orginal? For sure, the clips must be on tight otherwise this setup won't work, right?

    Some stuff here and there....
I ran into the same problem. I Just put the originals back on till I could make my own clip. I tried bending them aswell and it didnt work (for me) others have had success doing it. But interested in seeing how you make it work so I might be able to steal your idea. Good luck.

All I did was bend them and straighten them the best I could. After that I pounded them back in. They fit okay for now but I'm gonna think of something to make it more secure. Good luck.
