I have been looking for a used Tacoma trd sport. I read a thread on here at some point ,talking about seats being more comfortable in trd as opposed to the seats in sr5. well it is somewhat confusing. because seems like the trucks I have found on web have been both trd -sr5 .so just as long as it is a trd it will have the better seats?

As long as it's a TRD. The TRD has everything the sr5 has plus the extra TRD options.

Looking for any advice on what to look for , while searching for a used Tacoma. Any kind of tip or problem to look for. or just an option to make sure it has, that u are thankful yours has. I am currently looking for a 07 or newer Tacoma TRD sport 4x4 quad cab. with a auto transmission. Also what is the difference between the off road and the sport?

Be sure to check that the frame is clean from excessive rust.

I've had both an auto and a 6 speed. I by far prefer the auto. Manual is fun though when driving around in the mountains. Just my opinion.

Offroad has ATRAC, rear locker, chrome bumpers and grill, tow package, 16" wheels, and bed outlet.

Sport has color matched bumpers, grill and door handles, hood skeeewp, mechanical or electronic LSD depending on year, tow package, 17" wheels, and bed outlet.

Thanks for the info. I ended up doing a search on here. Wow there sure is a lot of info on the subject. I think the sport is the one for me. I like the looks better, and I personally wouldn't use the rear locker feature . I think just having the 4 wheel drive will suit me fine. Now I just need to find that truck .
