    My specs are:
    Tyan s5512 mother board
Xeon quad core with hyper threading
    16 gig ecc memory
    256 gig SSD drive
    2 1 terabyte drives mirrored
4 Intel 1 gig Ethernet ports
OS's running on VMWare ESXi 5
    Debian Linux 3 instances
    BSD
    Windows 7
I have a 100 meg connection to the internet and host several web sites on my servers. I also have an instance of Windows 7 on the server just so I can test from a machine that is directly on the internet, not behind a firewall. Routing and security is provided by pfsense. I was paying over a $1,000 per year on hosting before I bought this server. Even with top name hosting companies I couldn't get the response times I wanted. (from admittedly complex sites) Now the sites just pop for the viewer.

Sounds like a pretty nice setup. I'd love to create something like this but currently don't have the time or funds for this.
