I never thought much about until it was gone. The lift assit deal I had on my Tundra tail gate was sweet. If you've never had one check out a Tundra sometime. After almost dropping the tail gate hard on my new Tacoma a few times all ready I kinda miss that feature. On the Tundra I could unlatch and walk away and it slowly went down on it's own and I swear a two year old could close it. Not that the Taco gate is heavy, it's just one of those neat features that spoils you. Lol

It's also one more feature to go wrong when you start abusing the toughness of the Tacoma! :p
