Im wondering if anyone here with a 3rz has done this swap. Ive been searching for the past hour and have only come across 5vz swaps and one 3rz swap over on custom tacos and i didnt like the way he had rigged everything up.

All i want to know is how you mounted the bottom and top of the alt. did you use 1/4" worth of spacers on the back side of the alt?

and what about belts, do you need a longer belt and did you swap to a 5 groove cs144 pulley like this http://store.alternatorparts.com/241257-5-groove-pulley-delco-10si.aspx

Don't know about the cs-144, but for the price and if you're looking for more power, have you looked at a Mean Green?

I need a stock replacement because I short out alternators when I do water crossings so I need to beable to get two cheap alternators with lifetime warranties.
