Oh I know this subject has been exhausted :p:p but I think you'll find it unique.

I had a 97 4runner with the 3.4 V6. I had the flowmaster delta 40 and loved the sound. Nice rumble at low idle and not too loud at higher speeds.

Would my 2012 tacoma sound similar? I don't like the TRD exhasut because its has a higher pitch than the flowmaster I had did.

    Anyone have input?

Toytec Coilovers, Total Chaos uca's, Wheelers aal+Bilstein 5160's. 285/70/17's, Method Double Standards. Magnaflow exhaust, GrilleCraft grille, Allpro bumper, diff breather relocate, yellow wire mod, oil catch can, weathertechs.
Similar would probably be a good word to use. Won't sound EXACTLY the same. Both are v6's, but one is newer with a different and slightly bigger engine. More than likely the exhaust is routed a little different too (but you can change that):D I personally don't like the sound of flowmaster on the newer tacoma's. A little too loud for my taste, but to each their own.

I have no experience w/ flowmaster other than youtube vids but I put on my 11 dclb the Gibson cat back system and I like it a lot.......A bit more power and a nice ddep tone not to loud and hardly hear it at highway speeds.
