A guy I worked with years ago was struck by a high speed dumpster at a traffic light the wind blew it into the street and down the hill it went.

It really isn't as strict as it sounds. Most states have a season for hunting both Dark and Light geese. The permit mentioned is available at your local post office and is called a Federal Waterfoul Stamp. Get one of those, comply with your state law on license and seasons and go get some!!

? What does that have to do with anything? Lots of people run them as extra protection in case of an accident. If it comes down to your word vs someone elses word and you've got video footage to back up your word, who do you think will have the stronger case? My last accident I wish I'd have had a camera, though mine would have needed to be pointed behind me. I was lucky that a building security camera caught the incident and I was able to get a copy of the video, otherwise insurance would have had me at 30% responsible on a 5k repair bill.

Agreed! Tough decision but you're both in one piece. In my first vehicle, I had no choice but to 'run over' a huge black crow dumb enough to squat in the center of a very busy road. I was too surprised to see a living animal there to react. Good thing. My 1985 tiny car would have ended up in a ditch or worse.

Best prevention is to look 30 sec down the road. Nothing like avoiding a fight by not walking down the dark alley in the first place!

Those gooses are a real pain in the @ss around airports specially around aircraft without audible horns . When scare tactics dont work ,we have federal permission to shoot them on site . Got 17 of them a couple years ago .
    Blast away !!!!:D

Nope. Just like making sure I'm protected in court should someone try to pin something on me.
