should i buy a 2003 prerunner double cab trd

    the double cab is my mothers current mail delivery truck it has two steering wheels(the extra is easily removable) i probably could get it for about 5k or so it has about 240k miles on it and counting needs 4 new tires. and has various battle scars from mail boxes. one thing i hate about the truck is the bucket seats. id probably try and find a benchseat and drill new holes back a few more inches for more leg room(thats my only gripe with the 96 regular cab is the lack of leg room)

    i need another truck like i need a spare hole in my head..i have 4 now...if i got this i might sell my silverado or tahoe...

    someone would probably trade you in a heartbeat for those buckets so that shouldn't be an issue

    the real questions you should ask is: do you know the service history, was it done timely, and any rust

    no rust lol this is the south...my mom keeps up with service and the woman who she got it from keeps up with all service.(same woman she is gonna get the 2010 from since she is retiring)

    I love the double cab first gens so yes. Only as long as the services is good ( which you say was good) and no rust. I would say buy it.

    yeah im thinking about selling off my tahoe i really dont need it.ill probably kep the silverado for when i need to tow something. but the 96 taco 4x4 could become a toy and the double cab a dd possibly
