Hey i'm new to the forum world so not sure how all this works. I just bought a 2007 Toyota Tacoma and have a few questions. First my parking lights do not work in the front nor do the DRL's. They are working in the back but not the front. The signal lights work fine. Second when i lock my doors the lights flash but there is no chirpping sound. Any idea on how to fix these problems? Thanks

The lights have likely been disabled by a former owner. They did you a favor because the running lights (daytime) caused the headlight lenses to overheat and melt/crack. Be happy. The "chirp" is another mod found here. I'll bet your trucks former owner was a member here! These "problems" are actually good to have. My opinion only? Welcome aboard.

Zeropilot, thank you for the info and for the welcoming! The only problem is that the truck will not pass inspection for North Carolina with the front parking lights not working. Either way I'm going to have to get them working. Didn't know if there was an easy fix or if this is a dealer job? Thanks

Look for the DTRL delete thread. I'm not computer smart, so I can't give it to you, but it shows the wire that is needed to snip and kill the lights. It might be an easy fix to re connect them?

Parking lights are probably burnt out. Both of mine burnt out at the same time. If you replace them with clear they kinda look like dtrl only not as annoying:rolleyes:
As for the "chirp" mine never has "chirped".
