I've got a 2012 DCLB with the TSB. Looking to lift the truck another 1-2 inches. Already have a ToyTec ULK (with ICON UCAs), so the front will not be an issue with the spanner wrenches. My question is more about the rear. Typically I don't have a load in the bed. I don't mind the truck riding like a truck, but don't want to stiffen too much as it is a fairly smooth ride. My initial thoughts on options are:

    - OME Dakar
    - All-Pro Standard
    - Better ideas are welcome.

Also, will I need to extend the brake lines.

If you only want 1-2 inches of lift at most then I'd do the AAL.

The dakar/all pro standard leaf packs will be 3 inches, but a better ride. All pro expos are 4 inches when unloaded.

I'll pull the current leaf pack if I get something else. Looking for approx. 3 inches.

I did the AAL then Dakars. If I had to do it again, I would go with the leaf pack from the start. AAL started to sag only after 3,xxx with a Ranch bed top always on it.

    just my .02 cents

Can't go wrong with the dakars then...I think they've been on backorder for a while though.

Haven't heard too many complaints about the all pro leaf pack either.

Pretty sure you can get the DAKAR pack and then take a leaf out to reduce the amount of lift you get.

Dakar is about the height I'm looking for. Not sure of the difference between Dakar and All Pro Standard. How is the ride without topper or weight in the bed? Don't mind a little stiffness, but not too much.

I'll be leveling out. How much weight do you consistently carry? Expos seemed a bit higher than what I wanted. So AAL was pretty stiff?

Currently i have no weight in the bed, but most times i have 200+ lbs of crap in there which was the reasoning for the expos, and i plan on adding armor in the future, right now im about 1-1.5in higher than the front (which has 2.5in of lift) and thats right where i wanted. the deaver aal i had was shit, it lifted me 2in for about a month then just sagged and rusted... and the ride was awful

on a side note, axle wrap is 100% gone with the allpros, they have a special "torque leaf" that helps prevent it.

I havnt gotten my 2.0 foxes on yet (allpro f-ed up) but the ride is already much better with the leafs being able to support the weight of the truck

Expos are now off the list. Too high for what I want. Looks like the AAL will stiffen the ride too much. Down to Dakars and All-Pro Standard. Without weight, how stiff are these two? How long do they hold their form with only occasional loads?

When I was looking for what i wanted i heard great things about both,

dakars seem to keep the height under loads better but could ride a little stiff unloaded

ap standards seem to ride a little better but tend to flatten under loads,

it really just depends on how much and how often you carry weight and if you can deal with your truck riding like a truck
