So last night I was driving my truck and it made this bang the the car started to shake. When I woke up this morning I put more oil and the spark plugs on it are new. Around the front fan intake/timing belt it is making a noise which I don't know if that has something to do with it. The engine still turns over and runs fine until you start you start to drive. It gets real stiff and shakes. When it is in neutral it only had minor shake. Any ideas what it could be?

Sounds like a motor mount. Was the engine lugging and/or struggling to maintain speed or was the whole vehicle shaking?

Almost sounds like you jumped time. Is it a 2.7? Any codes showing? Also the more info you give us on vehicle, the better. Like mileage, engine, recent work, etc. Ever done any valve work? Could be motor mount also.

It's a 2.4 with 160000 miles. I know it's not the motor mount because I have seen that issues in a buddy's truck and mine does not shake that violently. I received the truck for free and have only but 4000 on it. When I received the truck it got new brakes, sparkplugs, wires and tires. I also just had the oil changed. I also am putting a new clutch in it soon since it is starting to go. Other wise it is a solid truck and ran like a beast until this occurred.
