Just bought 2011 tacoma... It is pulling up my iPhone just fine, but these stock systems don't allow you to play music through the same Bluetooth?

Are you trying to use bluetooth for music while phone is connected to usb? It works on 2012 (not sure there is much difference) but bluetooth is annoying getting it to pair, but I don't think it would work plugged up.

Music doesn't play through the 2011 BT setup. Only 2012+ will have that feature.
