I was driving down the highway yesterday when my truck suddenly shut off.
After some inspection its determined that i have no spark. All the voltages/resistence for cam sensor, crank sensor, coil power, plug wires, coils is within spec. I was having problems with my oil pressure intermitantly and for the first few seconds of starting up it seemed like you could hear the oil pump knocking.

So if the pump gave out would the motor shut down as a safety feature, and be the cause of the no spark situation?
