Anyone have any info on flip down face plates. I have an 05 Prerunner Doublecab and am looking to install a Kenwood DNX 891HD and have been told by 2 different sources, 2 different answers. How aggrevating. Any help will be awesome. Thanks!!!

This deck will fit in your truck without issues.

I have this deck that also is considered "flip down". In reality, it tilts - so the bottom moves out away from the deck (which in a Tacoma means MORE sun hits it) and it slides down to allow access to CD or DVD or CF Card or other connection. I rarely ever move mine and sadly it is motorized, so I am sure I paid extra for the feature.
