I have ordered a 2014 Toyota Tacoma dbl cab 4 WD. I would like to put a set of Ultra Mongoose 178 wheels on this vehicle when I get it. My local tire shop tells me that the truck will come with steel wheels and the Mongoose 178 is not steel therefore I will have to change the "sensors" costing me about $200.00 more?? The wheel size will be a 16 X 8. The offset is +1. Can anyone tell me if this wheel will fit on my new Tacoma without buying new sensors? Also, will this wheel fit my truck w/o lifting it? Additionally, does anyone have any photos of the above listed wheel on their truck?
    Thank you.

Welcome to TW! Ordering upgrades before your truck is even in your hands?

This section of the forum is meant for intros. Your question will get better visibility if you post in http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/wheels-tires/

But yes, if you got the base trim level truck with steel wheels, going to aluminum wheels will require new tire pressure sensors (diff install angle).

The wheel otherwise will fit on the truck just fine with tires up to 31" (265/70-16). 32" tire (265/75-16) may rub the front mudflap.

Just Googled for photos. 1st hit is from TW and shows the 17x9 version:
