Well next week begins my tear down to install 5.29 gears and i just want to make sure i have my ducks in a row and i have all the parts and gaskets i need to complete the job so any input from you guys would be greatly appreciated. So far a have new inner spindle seals, a new wheel bearing for the front drivers side, Red RTV sealent and all the fluids i need to complete the job. I have the master rebuild kit from ECGS and im having a tech set the ring and pinions up. My tech is also going to press my new bearing in because i know they take like 40 tons of pressure to get out. So in addition to taking out the front and rear diffs, ill also be taking out the driver side spindle. Im just tearing out and putting back in to save money.

Some Questions i have that im hoping you guys can help me with.

Do the 04 Tacomas have an outer spindle seal, or just an inner seal?

I keep hearing people talk about torquing a certain nut to 207 ft-lbs, are they talking about the CV axle nut?

I saw somewhere that someone said NOT to use an impact gun on that nut that is torqued to 207 ft-lbs when REMOVING it. Is that true?

As for the wheel bearing, are there any hidden C-Clips/seals/bolts in the spindle that need to be taken out, or is the bearing solely held in place by pressing them in? Better put do i just pull the spindle out, remove the inner seal and then press the bearing out or is there more to it? When i take the spindle to my tech all i want him to do is have to press out old bearing and press in new one

Are there any other things i should address/keep in mind while im doing this job?

And again if you guys have anything that comes to mind please do chime in and let me know.
