i have a 2002 tacoma with the v6 and im having alot of trouble with the idle. when i start the truck and take off it will idle normal, then when the temp gauge starts to rise and continues all the way to the normal operating temp the engine will have a high idle ( 1800 and up) while rolling in neutral or when the clutch is depressed until i come to a complete stop. i took off the IAC valve and throtel body and cleaned them along with the mass airflow sensor. i have no CEL and both my O2 sensors are brand new. i purchesed the truck in virginia with the problem and now live in alaska, when purchesed in august 2013 it had 50,000 miles and from what i can tell wasnt driven very much. now im not a hot shot mechanic, just a part swapper trying to save money, with all the information provided could any one out there help me trounle shoot this problem?

    please and thank you

First of all, stop by the Alaska BS thread. Second of all, I can't help you much but I started having a high idle after cleaning the throttle body too. So I'm here just to read any information.

try unhooking your battery for 5 minutes and then back up again.
    It may need to relearn.

just took off the throttle body and cleaned all the connections to the sensors, still no luck.
