I do excavation work, and my clothes and boots are always wet and covered in mud. What type of seat cover do you think I should get? I really like the look and fit of the neosupremes by coverking, but they would be a pain in the ass to remove for cleaning. The dickies one's on the other hand are easily removable, but look like crap. Thoughts and opinions are welcomed and appreciated.

It's up to you on which brand you like, but buy the type of fabric called Codura. It's designed for rough conditions. I'm in construction myself and love this material type. I've had water spilled on it and won't soak through. Neither did my grease soaked bag of fried chicken. It didn't penetrate through the material. I just used a damp rag and clean it up with no stains afterwords.
It will outlast any of the neoprene types. Very low maintenance seat covers and worth every penny IMO

I work on site and use my truck as a office mostly, and I just buy the $30 cheapies and either wash or buy new when needed. Most auto dept.s sell ok basic grey that matches well enough. Since mine isn't leather, I just want to protect the original, and it has worked since new. Probably gone through 5-6 sets so far.

I got some Gran Prix brand at Big Lots for $2.50 apiece. So I have no worries about small spills or dirt or grease. They actually look pretty good too. And you have to have the Weathertech floor liners if you are play/work outdoors alot.

I love my cordura seat covers from CoverKing http://www.coverking.com/custom-seat-covers/tactical-ballistic-custom-seat-cover.html
They've been through many muddy/wet fishing trips and still look brand new.

I will say when I first put them on I thought I made a mistake and didn't really like them. But they just got better and better. They started taking on the shape of the seat and they're really comfortable. They're just slick enough to make it easy to slide in/out of and never bunch up.

But folding it down to get to pouches doesn't help ether.
