Hello guys. I just ordered a 2014 Tacoma Sport 4 door with 6' foot bed. I travel a lot with a lot of rifles so I'll be putting a bed vault in as well as one of those slide out tops and a topper. I think I'll be around 450 lbs extra in the bed. While most of my driving is on roads I do live in CO and love getting out on the jeep trails here. I know a lot about guns and not much about truck suspension. What should I be looking at? I was thinking a 3" lift. Do I need to add a leaf or better / adjustable shocks?? What would you do if it was your truck?

    Thanks for any info

Go with a full OME setup with the Dakars and you should be fine. Might want to get the AAL for the Dakars

If you are mechanically sound then install it yourself and youre looking around $1200 total.

If you get good with TW people around you youre looking around $1200 plus the cost of some beers, maybe some hotdogs/burgers

If you have a shop do it, you're looking at around $1200 and between $500-750 for install I believe

$1200 is a ball park figure depending on where you buy it from and how much they want to ship it
