    Hmmm,

Guess that means either hold what you got, or opt for:

    1) 5100's for front through DSM, call Sonny.
    2) wheelers offroad 3 leaf pak, about $150.

I would opt for #1, if you care anything about ride quality... Just FYI...

    My question fellas....

Is anyone running the 5100's all the way around with just one AAL in the rear? I'm looking for a smoother ride, with a small amount of lift to fit a slightly larger BFG A/T under there. Would have them set at 1.75, would that level the truck with one AAL? ALso, wtf is a TSB lol

TSB (Technical Service Bulletin??). They are a 4 leaf replacement pack for the Tacoma's. Sturdier and just plain better all around. You can use ONLY 1 AAL at a time. Not safe to do more than that.

If I run Bilstein 5100s all the way around, and just put on a Toytec AAL that gives me 2" in the rear, would it still work, and still be a smooth ride? I was thinking of an AAL in the rear and getting the 5100s set at 1.75 in the front, hoping this will be level?

If you get the toytec 2" aal you can set the billys at 2.5" or 1.75" . At 1.75 it will be a little nose down but I kinda like that . I have rear tsb + 5100s at 1.75 . It mesures .75" higher in rear but looks level some times it even looks a little nose up. Im thinking about an aal for this reason. Hope this helps:)

I have the TSB + 5100's set to .85 + 265/75/16. I like the 1" to 1 1/2 " lift that I got and it looks good (still a bit of rake) and the ride is fairly smooth. The ride did change from the original ride but not much.

I would go for the AAL.

I am on staff duty right now with no camera, but I can tell you that my '08 access cab with front 5100s set to 1.75 and a 7 month old TSB is about .25-.5" lower in back with no load other than my 60lb Undercover tonneau. I hauled 500-600 lbs for almost a month and it seems to have shoved the TSB back down to stock height. Axle wrap also came back:confused:

5100s set to 1.75 do ride far better than stock!

I am looking at the toytec TSB AAL to get a little rake back. Do they come painted?

Im also gonna get the LR UCA from toytec. Will this setting give me any rake or will it be level. If anyone know chime in im curious. thanks:)

i was told its good to get the UCA's because it will increase strength, articulation, and most importantly correct any alignment problems. but thats with the ultimate kit with new coilovers and the 5100 all the way around with the tsb aal...so not quite too sure if you just got the 5100 + TSB aal

This is mine with Billy's up front set at 2.5 and a TSB in the rear with a toytec 1.5 AAL as well. I have a slight rake and I think it looks perfect. My alignment is not right though. Wanders to the right. Not liking it so I ordered some UCA's to get my alignment back to spec. I'm sure that will do the trick and make me happy with the whole thing. Right now I love the look of it. I like the stiffer ride as well....but not happy with my alignment.
