That method PC Builder posted worked for me. I'm sure it'll be the same for you. I had to cut the DTRL's especially after I got the hid/ retros

    Quick easy fix:D

Did you end up cutting the wire to disable the DTRL's?? I am curious to know, cause if it worked, I am going outside right now, and doing this.

I am happy to report that my truck is DTRL free. I cut the white wire with green stripe, and no mas. Worked perfectly.

Yep the white wire with green stripe is the one! Cutting that wire has saved my hid's from nonsensical usage. I don't get why they would install DTRL's? If people wanted to run with headlights on during the day time then couldn't they just turn their lights on

Same reason they make auto windshield wipers and many other auto-working objects. Just easier haha

Auto windshield wipers? The wipers turn on by themselves when it starts to rain? Now that would be cool and useful. DTRL's ... still don't get the reasoning, haha

My wife's mazdaspeed 3 has the auto wipers. While I don't admit this to her (out of pride), it is effing cool.

    I wouldn't do that.

How much of a difference is it? Did you measure?

I had to cut a LOT of plastic off....beat the pinch weld with a BFH but I didn't drive it that much until my bumper came in and I installed it! I had to cut even more plastic when I installed the bumper...even had to cut some metal! But I love the way my truck looks so it was worth all the cutting lol

Haven't measured but it's off enough where I know other people will notice it easily....just pisses me off lol! What would you do to correct it?

Depends on if the difference is coming from the front or the back. You'll have to measure to see whether or not the front or back has the biggest difference.

I'm not home to take a closer look at it but I'm about 95% positive it's coming from the back
