Welding question

    Complete OME kit w/ 881's and dakars. All-Pro Sliders, CB, HAM Radio and various other minor stuff.
    My mig welder is currently setup for .030 wire and I want to weld my sliders. Is this sufficient or should I go up to .035?

    .030 will be just fine for sliders. If anything, move your puddle a bit slower and wider.

    D44, SAS, 3 link coilovers, ARB's, Ford 8.8, Atlas 4 speed, cutting brakes.
    .30 works good. But on mine I like to use .24 and crank up the speed it makes the puddle so much more manageable especially on vertical but that is on the edge of what .24 can handle.

    Thanks. Now that the sliders are bolted up, I'm going to try and weld them myself. Why do both you ask? Well, I don't completely trust my welding skills and 2 is better than 1 ;)
