Okay hones answer. Yes, a decent number of us have actually. It gives a nice boost in power and is really the only standalone performance upgrade that is worth it IMO. Depending on who you talk to you will see the same or lower mpg (mine got lower). It will cost you somewhere in the range of $3800-4300 to buy and another $500-1000 to have it installed if you go that route.

OP, you should really venture into the "Performance and Tuning" section.

What were you expecting? like any forced induction it needs power to make power, the truck isn't making hardly any power below 3000 rpm, if it were a turbo it'd need more exhaust energy to generate boost, because it's a supercharge it needs RPM on the crank, obviously the higher the RPM the higher the boost potential.

If you want instant throttle response and power the only REAL way to do that is change the mechanical properties of your engine, either increase displacement, increase compression ratio, increase tuning via timing and fuel changes, etc - if you use some type of FI to make up for lack of mechanical power the trade off will always be less power in the low end

You haven't been here long enough to know that Memario already knows and understands that.

Yes Im thinkin it wouldnt really be worth the money to do. Hell, its pretty fast now, I love the 6 speed. If i was to invest that much in a motor i would just build a small block chevy. Thanks for everyones input.
