Brake Lights

Hello, new to the forum and have read for several years but this is my first post. I am having problems with my left rear brake light. Changed the bulb first and still have the same problem. The running lights lit up but the brake light does not. Also I tried disconnecting the trailer light harness and connected again but didn't fix problem. The right brake light works fine.

Does anyone have an suggestions on what to do to get my left rear brake light to work?

Sounds like it's in your wiring somewhere. Have you tested wire at trailer box?If it's not hot you might go to connection under drivers seat carpet. Can test there. GL

 

Are you certain you used the correct bulb? Try swapping right and left brake bulbs, and see if the problem switches to the other side.
