I have a 2014 TRD Sport and am getting the itch for new wheels. Came across a deal for 5 Black FJ Trail Team wheels wrapped in BFG AT 265/75/16's (both in lightly used condition) for $1500. The seller is also willing to trade the Trail Teams for 4 17" TRD Sport wheels + Dunlop AT20's (both in light used condition) + cash on his end. Good deal for the trade, right? Thoughts?

Trail Teams are actually 2nd on my wheel wish list. SCS Stealth 6 takes the #1 spot. I'm a little hesitant in letting go of the stock wheels since I have always kept stockies after purchasing aftermarket wheels. Need to know if this trade is too good a deal to pass up? According to sale prices for the TRD stockies + Dunlop's, I'm not sure cash is even needed on his part since deal includes 5 Trail Teams + BFG's for the 4 TRD stockies + Dunlop's? Thought?
    Much appreciated!

I saw that ad as well. Is he really willing to add cash on top of trading for TRD sport stock wheels? If he is, then take that deal right now. No way TRD wheels plus dunlops are worth $1500.

I'm actually texting with seller right now. My last text was asking him about cash on top of trade and I haven't heard back. Hmmmm.

Kind of strange he's willing to trade from fresh BFG's to dunlops, but it's a great deal if you can swing it. Let us know how it goes...

That's about what that setup would cost brand new. I'd offer 1200-1300 considering they are used.

I'd do it especially if his wheels are still in good condition

Looks great and thanks for the info. If you don't mind me asking, what size tires are you running and what type of suspension mods?

Stock suspension with no rubbing with 265/75R16 tires

Keep in mind i have trd off road model, i am not sure if those size tires will fit sport model.
