Steering wheel play/looseness/minor clunking?

Hey has anyone come across feeling play/slight clunking in the steering wheel when driving on regular roads with bumps and way more noticeable when driving bumpy gravel roads as if something has become loose in the steering? I know there's a Toyota TSB out there to replace a part in the steering that supposed to eliminate this in which i've already had done but I still feel it. I've been to 2 separate Toyota dealers here in WA state and the most recent visit last month the Shop foreman talked to me on the phone and andvised me that he was told directly from Toyota techline not to do anything since it's got the new TSB part installed from previous dealer. Any suggestions and/or anyone else come across this same scenario or is this normal? I've got a 12DCSB TRD Sport 4x4 w/ 27k miles on it.

it's a truck. they're all a little clunky. every pickup I've ever driven has had a little play.

at least yours is only two years old. my fifteen year old truck basically drives itself.

might try the zip tie first.... sounds much easier than the rack bushing swap.
