'05 tacoma

Read the thread from the guy with the 05 Tacoma with frame rust. Does anyone know if Toyota did anything? My 05 has a rust hole and I had a friend with an 05 with the same thing. I have added things to it thinking it was going to last forever, new leaf springs and helpers, brake controller for my trailer etc. and hate to give up on it.
This is my 3rd Toyota truck, I would hate to think it will be my last.

I've heard of some people getting it taken care of at the dealership but I've also heard of stories where they wont do anything and people were SOL.
