    Lololol.

There are two boxes being built. Each of them are slanted and notched (just like a lot of the ones you see on the forum). They are going to be 22 inches wide and 17 inches tall (not sure of upper and lower depth yet). I have 46 inches from lever to lever behind the bench so I'll have an inch or two to spare in the middle. Both restraint hooks and the jack holder are coming out. The amps and x-overs are going under the seats.

It should be pretty freaking awesome. I am guessing there will be some sound deadening and rear fill in my near future as well. My buddy and I are gonna throw it all in over memorial day weekend if everything is finished by then and goes according to plan.

    One more thing to add-

One of the coolest things about a subwoofer pointing towards the back of the seat is that it acts like a back massage when you crank the bass up :D

I'm 5'9". I could probably fit 4 10s back there if I wanted to. Lolol. I don't really know how far the seat goes back with it all in. I only have one sub in the truck now (the current box isn't notched and it goes maybe 2-3 clicks away from being all the way back).

I only have to have .52 cubic ft per sub. They are 10tw3s and only require a 3.75 inch mounting depth. It's the only way you'll get two back there with any comfort.

As stated, it is 2 boxes. There are two reasons for that. 1. I don't want them sharing air space because they each have their own amp and 2. It is easier to build the boxes that way and install them.

Ahh the 3-3/4 inch mounting depth makes it so much easier then! I BARELY fit mine back there with a mounting depth of around 5-1/2 inches. You will have no problems at all fitting them, even with the stock jack handle (whatever you call it) against the back of the truck. You also will not have to contour around the little lip/panel support thing back there too.

Best of luck! Keep us posted :rimshot:
