    stock, for now
I have 3 credit cards now..First one was chase, and they SUCK..I went kinda crazy when I had it, and it was maxed at like 2K..Took me a few years to pay it off, but I dont use it for anything but gas for one week a year, just to keep it open. That has a $3,900 limit.

Sears Card I opened just to buy my tires with 6 months no intrest/no payment..Had them paid off in 3 months, no intrest paid. That has a $5,000 limit.

Finally, a Cabelas card. that has a $1,500 limit and theres currently a $500 balance on it from some big purchases I've made the last few months. Its a LOW APR, so if they charge me 2-3$ in intrest im cool with that.

I learned my lesson early in life, and with not closing any of them, I'm also helping my credit down the line when I buy a house, or need a loan for a new truck..Etc.

Credit cards are not a bad thing if you are mature enough to use them wisely, I buy everything on my cards for the rewards & never use my debit anymore. My bank doesn't give me jack for using the debit but Amex is covering my week @ a Westin in Cancun all on rewards. I pay them off every month, when I first graduated I inherited over 10k in cc debt from my fiancee took a while to dig out of that hole & it will never happen again, live & learn.

well it took a little longer than expected to pay off my 5 k debt  but when it comes to helping my mom or sister financially well they come first before CC payments.

From the time I had first used my visa cc I had planned on paying it off in about a year by paying more than the minimum required payment each month, but I opted to help my mom and sis before helping myself.

Either way it's all payed off now, and my credit score is over 700. :)

Well it's been well over a year, and it all went well, took a little longer than expected, but helping my family comes first!

I was reading from the beginning again after my previous post, and saw your post.

oh yea, I also ended up using the CC to get my OME lift, ATO rear bumper, and relentless front bumper and sliders! :D

That was the plan after paying off my mountain bike debt, and it went fairly well. :)

this is the credit card as of yesterday.

this... And make sure you read every single statement that you get from the bank... Chase pulled some sneaky as shit on me and snuck some stuff in that I could have "declined an increase in interest rate".... I apparently didn't see this and they jacked my rate from 6% to 22%.

    Edit... didn't read the date...

BUMP!!! I haven't used a credit card for a few years now. All my purchases are cash.

My truck is paid off too! I just sent in the last payment of $1,901.08 this past Sunday. :D The last payment was supposed to be sometime in 2016. Fug that!

Now my only loan is a student loan. 5k :pout: but I used that for a language course in Russia last summer.

    Feeling pretty good! :)

Good for you. If it is too tempting and you will just end up in debt, don't use them.

I'm the exact opposite. I never use cash. All purchases go to the credit card and get paid off every month. with 1.5% cash back on all purchases. i've paid for a lot of stuff with the cash back. It paid for the epoxy on my garage floor and a lot more.

I like to buy bigger ticket items using a cc then if I feel i got screwed or something else happens I just call the cc company and they take car of everything. If it all looks ok I can then pay it off.

I pay for everything that I buy for my business on an air travel miles Visa card , usually $10-30K a month

    It works pretty good
