Hi; I removed the bolt that holds down the rear of the drivers seat bracket to the floor. I'm wondering what kind of bolt it was that I removed???
It looks like what is called a "dog end" bolt, that is, a smaller section at the very end that would act as a pilot to help keep the bolt straight when starting to screw it in. This bolt has the "dog end" but that part is threaded.
Anybody know? Does this serve the same function, or is there a "special" nut under the floor that takes both sized threaded portions of the bolt???
    Thanks
