    Hey everyone!

Figure I might as well ask you guys for some assistance. I am closing on a house tomorrow. My current weed wacker sucks and has since new. So in the market for a new one. Right now I can't even completely narrow down the brand. I like Echo, Stihl, and Husqvarna.

I'd like a professional series, and here is why. I may be 24 but I own a rental house with plans to purchase a second in about 6 months. If needed I'd like to be able to use it for that and never worry about wearing it out. I also use a weedeater a lot to clear some trails for riding. Dad had a Stihl for 20 years and didn't have problems with it. That is the direction I am leaning but are they still that good? I'd like to stay around $350.

So the ones I am looking at are:

    Husqvarna 323L - $300

    Echo SRM-266T - $340

    Stihl FS94R - $350

The Husky is nice but the chainsaw I had of theirs was not the greatest. The big complaint I had was the carb wasn't adjustable by a user and had to be taken to a shop. My Husky push mower is ok but again the carb is my big complaint, should be able to work on them easier. I am leaning towards the Stihl right now. I want a trimmer to last me years years so willing to pay more upfront now. Also 2-stroke is nice. I'd like for it to be easy to work on as I can rebuild 2-stroke dirt bikes so figure this won't be too awful.

    Fire away guys!

I've had & have several Stihl products. They're not perfect but, overall I prefer them...my current trimmer of choice is a Stihl FS250r. It's a beast.

it doesn't matter which one you buy it's somewhat of a crapshoot how long they last.

Interesting response. I think I'll just go for the Stihl. Might even see about picking it up after work today.
