Hi!...so I got me a brand new red 2014 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner TSS Edition with V6 engine and tow package. I've been ninja reading on Tacomaworld for a while, so I thought I'd join. :D

The dealer kind of screwed me over, because he told me all the 4x4's were $5k more:eek:, but I found one at another dealer for just $1k more after I already purchased mine.

Anyway, I don't use 4x4 much, but it would have been nice to have for the beach (i am only 20mins from).

My first upgrade is complete. I installed a custom 700 watt JL Sound System. I kept the factory head unit, and installed the following:
    1. JL Stealthbox with 10" Subwoofer
    2. JL XD700/5 Amplifier
    3. JL C3 Speakers "Front" (w/tweeters)
    4. JL C2 Speakers "Rear"
    5. AudioControl LC6i Line Output Converter

    Sounds crazy good!

    * Also tinted the windows with 3M & bought a TRD shift knob.

Next upgrade, I am thinking of getting a grille guard, but honestly I'd like to hear from other Tacoma owners on what type of accessories you like or recommend.

I would recommend the Rigid grille with 20 in light bar! High quality and super bright.

Been looking at this grill and have been wondering, Do you have to use a rigid industries 20" light bar or will any light bar fit as long as it's 20"?

Thanks all! I like the Rigid grille with the light bar. I might do that if I don't go with the grille guard.

I'm not so sure I like the way the roof racks look, but I might have to get them in order to move my future kayak around.
