ooooo look at all the pretty colors:D I has somethin similar, only in mt bikes, lol. Wife has a cross bike & comfort bike I has 1 road bike and a few cruiser/choppers but the other 10 are some form of fat tire offroad. Diggin that stand, and the room to use it. Mine are mostly on the wall on hooks so the 3 cars can still park in the garage.

    Sweet! I'll let you know.

I've done heavy leg day before riding and it's not fun. I usually spin 30 minutes after leg day to let all that acid out. I rarely get sore now.

I can't speak to fluid vs. magnetic, but I can say I like my Kurt Kinetic (Fluid) trainer with pro flywheel. Well, I like it as much as anyone can "like" a trainer. It's very good construction, works well, can handle me doing intervals of over 5-600w, and the pro flywheel allows the wheel to spin for over 30 seconds after I stop pedaling (which seems to give it a more "road-like" feel to it).

Did the Gran Fondo Texas over the weekend with my brother and his friends! The last 40 miles was brutal! Hills with headwind.

    ^ very nice!

I never found what I ran over, but my tires did not like it haha. The hole in the tube was about 2-3x as big.

So I ordered some gator skins from a the shop I bought my bike from on line and 25 hours later they were in hand . I was going to go with some serfas tires again but decided to see what all the hype is about these. So far I am pretty impressed. They are kinda heavy, but that's the cost of protection :notsure:

I also decided that the weight difference between alum and carbon parts is not that big....and keeping with the soda can theme...I am going to look for deals on some 3t alloy parts (probably go used).

3T Rontundo pro bars, ARX II Stealth stem, and their IONIC 25setback seat post. Besides that a better wheel set at some point in time so i can use the stock as a rain set. I am thinking around the no more than 1500g which is about a 500g difference from the stock ones.

My gf also said she would buy me a fluid trainer :D :woot:

I see that plastic bike made you want a plastic truck. In Cali that causes cancer :D Nice truck!

    Im getting there......
Any opinions on the Cannonade SuperSix Evo Hi Mod vs the Trek Madone 6 series. I can get pretty good deals on a 2014 SuperSix Evo Hi Mod 2 Dura Ace or a Trek Madone 6.5 (Ultegra Di2).

Please feel free to throw out others as well (I am still shopping around). I am also intrigued by the Devinci Leo SL, but haven't seen one in person.

Currently I am riding a Moots Vamoots with dura ace 7800

The evo him is amazing and I have heard great things about the madone. Both are new?

I say get the evo, but I ride a caad10 so I'm bias or cannondale :p

But go with the one you like more. Ultegra di2 is silky smooth same with DA 9000.

If you still can't pick choose the one with the better deal.

Thanks! Yes both are brand spanking new. Of course you are right on all counts. I have never had any experience with cannonade so I am slightly hesitant due to their proprietary component use and restricted sales model (probably not necessarily things to be worries about).

I'm at a loss for words... other than to say I bet there's a lot of "plastic" in Cali (as there is here in Dallas). ;)

I haven't ridden either, but some friends of mine got Evo's as their team bikes and say they are awesome!

Nice taco and bike! Love the wheels

What is wrong with your vamoots? I'm a big fan of the madone and evo. If I had to choose I would go with the Madone because I wanted one real bad. I like how they designed their rear brakes.

    Yes! ;) ;)

I use the Specialized insoles... two different arch supports (one for each foot). I've also used eSoles and another brand out of Australia.

Take a look at this site/article/post:
    http://www.stevehoggbikefitting.com/bikefit/2011/02/foot-correction-part-1-arch-support/

I take websites like these with a grain of salt, but I have found a lot of what he talks about throughout his site makes sense and has helped.

I am very flat footed as it stands (pun :D). My feet will go numb or my knees will hurt and before I drop money on a fit I am going to address my feet.

But they will have to wait since I just bought the garmin
