    Super 40 flowmaster 3 inch pipe.
    Ok so I have a 2006 tacoma prerunner trd have super 40 flowmaster exhaust with 3 inch pipe I am going to get a k&n install on intake saturday. What am I looking at on gains?

    ^This. Don't bother with cold-air intakes, short ram intakes, etc. on the Tacoma unless you have the TRD supercharger or an aftermarket turbo already installed.

    Wont be giving no power at all. Just waste my money? What else can I do to increase horses without spending big bucks.

    Headers and a tuner.
    Neither of which (at least a configuration that will get measurable gains) are legal in California.

    And by "measurable" gains, I mean just that.
    Seat of the pants? Not so much. Maybe a bit better throttle response, but for the most part, these engines are pretty maxed out.

    Ok thanks. Also getting performace chip. My buddy had one and saw some good gains from it. Always nice to have a buddy in body shop lol.
