1998 Tacoma manual 4x4 (floor shift with tilt steering)

My truck is dead in the water, something snapped in the primary ignition system while turning the key. I pulled out the ignition lock cylinder and retrieved the broken part and now I need help identifying it. From what I can tell it looks like it is just a connection point between the key cylinder and the electrical ignition switch.

I'm hoping I can obtain a replacement part without breaking the bank. Any help is appreciated.

That would be brilliant, thanks! I'm actually in Orange County right now so will get the VIN to you later today.

I believe the replacement part I need is called the steering column housing support or upper bracket (part # 4528035350). Can anyone recommend a good online reseller of used parts?

    Thanks!
