Hey guys. Just got a new one. First time Toyota buyer. I came from a Mazdaspeed6 (FUN) but $4k in upcoming maintenance repairs made me decide to get a new vehicle. I've always wanted a Toyota Truck ever since Marty McFly had one in Back to the Future. 25 years later I finally have the chance to get one. Also, this was a lifestyle decision as I am enjoying the outdoors more as I get older.

I joined TW a couple weeks back researching a few upgrades that didn't come with the purchase. Needless to say, I have found this forum to be like crack. On first visit I immediately ordered all the parts to install EOM like fog lamps, heated outside mirror, door sill guard, skid plate, LED interior lighing, and TRD -off road wheels. So on saturday I installed EVERYTHING in one sweep (save for the wheels, tire shop did that for me). I'm gonna need to find a less expensive hobby than to figure out what else I can do to the truck.

I tell you what. I could not have done the fogs and heated mirrors without the amazing people on TW. The Heated mirror thread was awesome. Couldn't have done it without you. One of the threads showed me the best OEM like fog light kit to get. The best was learning that the TPMS sensors were different between the stell vs alloy wheels. Geve me enough knowledge to ask the guys at the tire shop to rotate the sensors 180° so I wouldn't have to buy four new ones.

Next up I want to get a behind the grill LED light bar, upgrade the HU to navigation, and tint the front windows. I'm sure there are plenty of suggestions here in the forum to lead me in the right direction.

Again, thanks TW. You all rock.:yay:

My truck is 3 weeks old. This is what I've done.

    -Factory like Fog Lights
    -Inside LED's including vanity
    -License Plate LED's
-Hose clamp around the the tailgate hinge (lock)
-Installed cabinet locks to the in bed storage bins
-Installed OEM Tacoma TRD off-road wheel (using stock TPMS). Had to buy lugnuts.
    -Installed console Vault
-Sourced and order Lowes Kobalt slimline crossover box in BLACK (to be installed)
    -installed Door sill protector
    -installed TRD Skid plate
    -28% tint to front windows
-Customize new JPEG's to the entune unit for Screen on and Screen off
-Installed INNO RT102 crossbar mount and crossbars for my Skybox
-(best feature) Installed Heated outside mirrors and relocated DSC OFF switch to the next slot over (those switches are keyed incase you were wondering)
-Took my stereo out just to make sure I can use the new 2014 Enune with NAV whenever I can acquire one from FLtrucks

ALL THIS IN THREE WEEKS!!!! Owning this truck is not going to be cheap! I hope the mod itch ends soon. Sheesh! Someone tell me that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
